loved my stay at the family-run property in Ubud, amazing bungalow with outside kitchen and a beautiful pool. Exquisite gardens and a short walk to the Main Street. No TV's here, but who needs it in Bali? Highly recommend this gem. Sari Bamboo Bungalows surpassed expectations.

lacking maintenance

I had an amazing stay at Sari Bamboo Bungalows. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and provided me with an authentic Balinese experience. The villa was clean and spacious, with daily linen changes. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the center of Ubud. I also took advantage of the host's taxi services and tour, which were excellent. Wayan, the driver, was fantastic and even shared his culture with me. The communication with the hosts was outstanding, always responding to my queries promptly.

The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and always available to help. They made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The peaceful ambience and location of the hotel were perfect for my New Year getaway. I enjoyed being able to relax by the pool and explore the local sights during the day.

The cleanliness of the bathroom was a bit disappointing. However, I do understand that the hotel is surrounded by nature, so it can be challenging to maintain the same level of cleanliness as a fully enclosed hotel.

Shops and restaurants nearby, nature feel of the property, well-maintained exterior, lovely pool, included breakfast with helpful staff.

It was all superb.

Lovely hosts, full Balinese experience, clean and spacious villa, good location. Excellent driver. Hosts were excellent with communication.

Oh, I just loved being informed last-minute that I was staying in a different property due to renovations. And the noisy traffic outside?

As a traveler staying for a week, I found Sari Bamboo Bungalows to be a perfect choice. The spacious room and bathroom, along with the incredibly comfortable bed, made for a truly relaxing stay. The outdoor kitchen, complete with a kettle for my morning tea, was a delightful bonus. The food prepared by the family was delicious, and the smiles from the staff made every meal even more enjoyable. The location was fantastic, with shops and restaurants just outside the property, and a street full of dining options a short distance away. The peaceful ambience and friendly staff added to the overall wonderful experience. The pool and beautiful exterior of the property were also well-maintained.

I would definitely recommend this hotel.
